Capture some REM for more productivity

Be the first to see our latest revolutionary Rapid Editing Module (REM), allowing you to edit and mark-up low resolution images before the final high resolution files flow into the Capture Digital Asset Management system.

Direct integration with Adobe Photoshop is built into the web-based workflow, allowing editors to mark up and annotate required changes and automatically feed these back to photographers - who can then edit and upload their high resolution files accordingly, which are then intuitively updated with the corrections as they flow into the Capture DAM system.

"We are very excited to launch our new module at PACA" says Abbie Enock, Managing Director at Capture Ltd.  "We developed it specifically for the picture industry to prevent the logjam that often occurs when high resolution images require editing as they are uploaded to the system.  It's an extra tool to add to our existing powerful creative business solution toolbox and it complements our Greenlight pre-flight tool, which checks the technical and metadata quality of an image," Abbie added.

Capture will be showcasing this module together with the full Capture system at PACA. We have a stand near the registration desk so you can't miss us! To guarantee a demo of this exciting new module whilst you're at PACA please email helen@capture.co.uk.

Capture will also be at Visual Connections on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at The Altman Building, 135 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, so please drop by our table in the lower gallery if you are there.

The many stand-out features of our company and products include:
Systems that allow you to maintain your individuality with front-end branding and look-and-feel, while driving this from the tried-and-tested Capture engine with its customer-rich facets that keep clients returning to your site.
We are not just great software developers - we also have a team of export staff knowledgeable in all aspects of running an archive. They are here to help, train and consult on finance, digital image and media management, keywording, metadata, marketing, reports, and much more. Our team includes two trained accountants; photographic and digital imaging experts; project managers; search engine optimisation skills ...

The Capture team will be on hand to demonstrate the full suite of software, that includes:
the world's most powerful image industry integrated back-office system.
the new 2.2 Capture e-commerce front-end that is full of customer-enticing features.
state-of-the-art keywording tools.

CaptureDesk - our popular project organiser for picture buyers - is now available on a monthly subscription.

Please contact us for a demonstration. We would love to show you what we can do to help solve your problems.

Capture MD speaking at Metadata Conference

Capture Managing Director Abbie Enock was one of the speakers at the IPTC Photo Metadata Conference "Using Metadata To Power Your Business" in Dublin in 2010.

She was participating in the first public presentation of a controlled vocabulary for describing images - and potentially also video - by looking at intuitive ways user interfaces could accommodate the new approach to annotating images.

Capture builds on its ground-breaking work with PLUS

Capture has taken its leading work with the Picture Licensing Universal System (PLUS) a stage further by integrating full rights management based on PLUS standards.

The British Library

Patrick Fleming, British Library Associate Director, said: "It is a brilliant feeling seeing the quality and functionality of the site. Everyone involved deserves the highest credit.

“Capture is a brilliant company at the forefront of the online picture library world. They have proved to be a first class partner and we look forward to seeing our Images Online site continue to grow and prosper as we add more content and exploit the site's tremendous functionality."

The Travel Library

The Travel Library is one of the UK’s leading independent sources of high quality travel images, and has been a long-term user of Capture systems. Recently the company wanted a bespoke front-end developed for the greetings card, calendar and poster market (www.ttl-plus.com). Capture undertook the work – and the result was a delighted client.

Chris Penn, Production Manager of The Travel Library, said: “I could not have guessed that my seemingly impossible designs for TTL Plus would have become a reality in such a smooth, well managed and successful way. The company’s skills are outstanding. If we are successful with TTL Plus then Capture is surely part of that success. It's been a great project all the way through because of the great communication and quick actions.”

Managing Director Philip Enticknap said: “We have a long-established relationship with Capture. They understand our needs and can deliver excellent work on time, to a tight deadline. Capture is a company we can trust, where loyalty, integrity and a high-level of professionalism walk hand-in-hand.”

Cultura

"The photographers love the part of Capture where they can log in and see details of their accounts. We are very pleased with the royalty engine, and delighted that – despite some complex requirements – the Capture team got us live with the back-office system absolutely on time. Capture is very definitely critical to our long-term growth plans," said David Bloom, Finance Director, Cultura

National Maritime Museum

“Working with Capture to build and launch www.nmmimages.com has been a terrific boost to our Picture Library services. Clients and researchers can now easily access the Museum's collections and using Capture Office Online as our asset management system has really boosted productivity within the team. Capture's helpful staff have given us great support throughout. Having launched with 12,500 images in January 2009, we are about to reach 20,000 so things are moving along nicely!  Later this year, we'll be introducing e-commerce and keywording to www.nmmimages.com as part of Capture's 2.2 revamp of the website - exciting times!”: Douglas McCarthy, Picture Library Manager, National Maritime Museum.

It's just such a great product, and if I can cope with it, virtually anyone can. I especially like the fact that the complicated stuff is behind the scenes, leaving me free to worry about what the site looks like and how prospective clients will relate to and use it".

"Capture is our brilliant new online accounts system. It provides our contributing photographers and agents with a fast, flexible, user-friendly service. Retna will supply each photographer and agent with their own individual 3-letter username code and unique password. With this you monitor your sales, view thumbnails and details of each transaction and keep track of your best-selling images. Capture is unique in the industry. It's a cutting edge program that will revolutionise the way you do business. We know you'll love it!"
