Taking the plunge into upgrading a DAM system can be a minefield and many organisations delay because of common problems and pitfalls associated with complex issues surrounding the migration of data.

The benefits of upgrading and asset migration from an existing system to the new one include:

  • Refined streamlining
  • Improved keywording
  • Better metadata integration
  • New licensing opportunities
  • Enhanced rights management

The National Portrait Gallery embraced the need for an upgrade for their Image Library in order to gain from an overall improvement in the control and management of their assets. At Capture we are proud of our client retention, and the trust we have built over many years of working together gave the Gallery the confidence to move forward with their 2015 system upgrade.

“We are very pleased to be continuing our relationship with Capture and are excited by the launch of the new website. This change has allowed our customers to search our Collection and license images easily and efficiently.” Matthew Bailey, Manager, Rights & Images, National Portrait Gallery

The overall success of the National Portrait Gallery upgrade came from Capture’s:
